Lily's World XD Walkthrough | Full laptop puzzle route

Quick route: boot with cat → read the blog, inbox, Journal and chats → Study Guide with kite runner → assemble the Palster email and the Alex/age-11 clue → use the fourth photo's date for Sectlink (2003 03 25) → find the Radiant Path lead and raise it with Iris to reach the closing beat.

Follow the actual clue chain

1. At the boot prompt, use the question-mark hint and enter cat. 2. Explore the desktop: Journal, Email, Messenger, Photos and the in-game browser. If the blog looks missing, open a New Tab inside the browser. 3. On Lily's blog, change the background to expose the hidden link, then decode the emoji clue reading “my favourite book”. 4. Scroll to the start of the irislovesdogs chat: the book they talk about gives the Study Guide answer kite runner (keep the space). 5. For Palster, take the address lilypad088@hotmail.com from the registration email. The password clue combines her crush's name with Dumpling's age: 2004 − 1993 = 11. The community reports alex 11; its exact accepted spacing and capitalisation are not independently confirmed. 6. For Sectlink, follow the chat comment pointing at the desktop photos. The fourth photo supplies the date 2003 03 25 (spaces included). 7. Keep gathering the Radiant Path lead, then return to Iris and mention Radiant Path when she asks about Lily moving away. 8. Play out the remaining messages to the deliberately abrupt end-of-demo screen.

Alex's profile page and the Secret folder with its audio files. This is the corner of the desktop the Palster clue chain lives in.

Step 2

The Maze Game app buried under repeated “Location successfully enabled” pop-ups — the moment the game stops pretending it is a normal desktop.

The Photos app hides the private diary behind its own viewer. Anything you cannot open from the desktop usually has a self-explanatory window like this one.

Where players most often lose the trail

Can't find the blog? Use the in-game browser's New Tab button. A Steam player reported that staying in the first tab is what blocked them from reaching the age clue.

Study Guide rejecting the word? The answer is the book title kite runner, not the word book. The emoji phrase tells you what to look up; it is not the password itself.

Iris won't progress? Collect the Radiant Path lead before returning to her. If the topic still never appears, note your build and save instead of brute-forcing dialogue options.

These steps were checked against the demo build (live since June 2026) and a player-written Steam guide. lily's world XD released on 17 September 2026, so if the full release changed a puzzle, the demo route is what we can document — we will not invent the difference. Corrections: contact page.
